Google Analytics is a free web analytics service  which is offered by Google. It helps to monitor and report the traffic in the website. This service is launched in November 14, 2005.  Google Analytics is  the most widely used web analytics service on the Internet. Google account is necessary to use the Google analytics.

Create Google Analytics Account :

  • Search for Google Analytics in the Google search engine.                                                                    
  • Click create an account.                                                                                                                          
  • Click on access Google analytics if once you have signed in to Google account.                                  
  • Click on Signup button.                                                                                                                             
  • Fill the Account Name, Website Name, Website URL, and select an Industry Category and Reporting Time Zone.                                                                                                                        
  • Click on Get Tracking Id.                                                                                                                         
  • Click I Accept,in the Google Analytics Terms of Service Agreement.                                                   
  • Finally, add the tracking Id to the website.

Steps To Find Tracking ID :


  1. Sign in to the Google Analytics account using Google account.

  2. Click on Admin option at the top when you logged in.

  3. Click on the drop-down in the page and select the account in which a new website have to be added.

  4. click on the drop-down in the property column in the middle and create new property.

  5. Fill the website details and click on the Getting Track ID button.                                                         
                                                                                                                                                                     
  6. The Tracking ID will be displayed on the page. The  tracking code or tracking ID is a piece of JavaScript that collects and sends data to Analytics from a website.
